We're on the lookout for a Recruitment Superstar (aka Talent Matchmaker, People Finder Extraordinaire) to help us keep growing our powerhouse team. Based in our Charlestown, Newcastle office, you'll play a key role in shaping the teams that shape our projects. This role can be offered as full-time or as a job share for the right people
What You'll Be Doing
You'll find, attract, and onboard top talent across Australia. Think of yourself as a mix of detective, storyteller, and relationship builder.
Your day-to-day might include:
- Writing ads that make people want to join Saunders (like this one )
- Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and testing awesome candidates
- Keeping our Martian Logic system (and your spreadsheets) in top shape
- Partnering with our Operations and Project Managers to build unstoppable teams
- Welcoming new hires and setting them up for success
- Lending a hand with other HR initiatives when recruitment has quieter moments
Who You Are
You're not just a recruiter, you're a connector. You love matching people to opportunities and thrive in a busy, team-focused environment.
You'll bring:
- Recruitment experience (end-to-end, please)
- A relevant qualification and/or proven industry know-how
- Familiarity with recruitment systems – bonus points if you've used Martian Logic
- Impeccable judgement and confidentiality, along with a genuine care for people
- A knack for building relationships that last longer than a hiring cycle
- Solid understanding of HR legislation and best practice
- Tech-savvy skills and a can-do attitude
