About You

  • Must be competent in AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Must have prior experience in drafting of mechanical and structural elements

We are seeking a skilled and details-oriented Draftsperson to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive technical drawings to support the design, fabrication, and assembly of pumping systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

About The Role

  • Produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings for pump assemblies and components
  • Create General Arrangement (GA) drawings for client approval and project documentation
  • Prepare fabrication files including DXFs, detailed drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop custom solutions
  • Maintain and manage a digital library of drawings and models for internal use
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes for materials and fabrication services
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming parts and materials prior to fabrication
  • Support workshop staff by explaining design intent and addressing queries
  • Assist in resolving design-related issues during production
  • Participate in final inspections to ensure assemblies meet design specifications
  • Contribute to testing and commissioning of pump systems when required
