About the Role

We're currently seeking to employ an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join our Engineering Services team in Kwinana, WA on a permanent fill-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models.
• Create and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in 3D models.
• Generate fabrication and construction drawings including piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and structural supports.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control compliance.
• Support site teams with redline markups and as-built documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process flow diagrams.
• Ability to perform mechanical drafting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping components, and instrumentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Inventor.
