The Opportunity

If you're a Reliability or Maintenance Engineer who's grown tired of fighting uphill battles in reactive environments, this is the role that restores your sense of impact. You'll be part of a well-resourced operation that genuinely invests in reliability principles.

This is a hands-on, site-based position focused on improving plant performance, driving root-cause investigations, and shaping maintenance strategies that make life easier for the entire operations team. You'll have visibility, trust, and a say in how the assets are managed.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the investigation of equipment failures, identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
  • Optimise preventive maintenance plans and champion reliability-driven culture across production and maintenance teams.
  • Plan and scope major plant shutdowns and outages, coordinating across stakeholders.
  • Track and report key metrics (Reliability, Availability, MTTR, MTBF) and turn insights into improvements.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support while mentoring others in reliability fundamentals.

About You

You're methodical, inquisitive, and grounded. You enjoy the balance between analysis and time in the field. You know how to translate reliability data into practical actions, and you have the confidence to influence without ego.

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experienced in maintenance or reliability within heavy industry, manufacturing, or process environments.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis, maintenance planning, and reliability reporting.
  • Skilled at building rapport with trades, supervisors and senior managers alike.
