About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to provide personal care and community participation support to a delightful 7-year-old boy with Autism in Truganina. This role requires someone who is patient, energetic, and committed to making a positive impact on the child's development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care support before and after school.
  • Facilitate community participation to support social and emotional development.
  • Build a nurturing and trusting relationship with the child.
  • Assist with daily routines, activities, and transportation as required.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday:
  • 7AM–9AM
  • 3PM–6PM or until 8pm and

  • 8pm-10pm (usually onwards)

  • Saturday: 9am–1pm & 8–10pm (usually onwards)

  • Sunday: 8:30–11am & 8–10pm (usually onwards)

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with Autism (deal-breaker).
  • Driver's license and access to a reliable car (deal-breaker).
  • Preferably female and physically fit to meet care needs.
  • Friendly, patient, and reliable personality with a passion for supporting children.
