THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Medical Affairs Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing the Medical Affairs strategy across all products within the Immunology & Specialty therapeutic areas. This high-impact role involves strategic leadership, customer-centricity, team empowerment, and operational excellence.

You will lead, inspire and empower a large team, whilst maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver value. Additionally, this role has a strong collaborative and cross-functional approach to ensure business goals are achieved whilst driving strategic initiatives, team performance, and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision and execution of Medical Affairs strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and patient needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, understanding their needs and delivering meaningful value.
  • Promote a cross-functional approach, working closely with marketing, sales, regulatory affairs and broader teams to collectively achieve business goals.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop large field and office-based teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and high performance.
  • Maintain high level of quality, compliance and accountability
  • Partner across functions to ensure strategic initiatives are successfully implemented and business goals are achieved.

About You

  • Tertiary education: Medical Degree (MD), PhD, or PharmD (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder networks, both internal and external.
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, working effectively across functions to deliver strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
  • Ability to lead with agility and foster resilience within teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence across diverse teams and functions, driving alignment and collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape with the ability to translate insights into impactful strategies.
  • Patient and customer centricity with curiosity to understand and address the needs of patients and HCPs.
  • Demonstrate Credo based leadership, ethical decision-making, and a strong compliance mindset in all aspects of leadership.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, delivering value through meaningful engagement.
  • Strong strategic mindset with ability to see bigger picture, anticipate future needs and future focused strategies that are customer and outcome driven.
