Sheet Metal Worker – Stainless Steel & HVAC Fabrication

Location: Gold Coast, QLD

We're seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join our busy workshop on the Gold Coast. The role involves fabricating and installing high-quality stainless-steel products for commercial kitchens, refrigeration, and air-conditioning projects.

About the Role

  • Fabrication of benches, splashbacks, exhaust hoods, and ductwork
  • TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel and galvanised sheet
  • Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
  • Operating press brakes, rollers, guillotines, and power tools
  • Working on both workshop and onsite installations
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace

What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualification – Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
  • Proven experience in stainless and sheet metal fabrication
  • Strong TIG welding skills and eye for detail
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team

Desirable

  • Experience in HVAC ductwork or commercial kitchen fabrication
  • Forklift licence or EWP ticket
  • White Card
