Are you passionate about educating and mentoring those around you? Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse looking for a new position?

Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse - Recovery / PACU to join our Operating Theatre on a full-time or part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

As the CN Recovery / PACU Role, your responsibilities will include:

· Oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standard

· Support and liaise with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff and VMO anaesthetist

· Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilization standard

· Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management

Essential Criteria:

· Current Registration with AHPRA

· Previous experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role, or been practising in the role of anaesthetic nurse for more than 3-4 years in a team leader role

· Have completed relevant post graduate qualification or commitment to commence within 12 months of appointment

· Commitment to Quality Patient Care

· Compliance with NSQHC National standards

· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

· Experience in similar position (desired)

· Excellent Communication and Customer Services skills

· Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks
