Our client is a leading supplier and manufacturer of high-quality steel reinforcing products is looking for Machine operators for an Immediate start.

The main responsibilities will include operating machinery, forklift driving, and performing basic machine maintenance.

This is a casual, ongoing position working Monday to Friday, with the potential to become permanent.

The Role:

  • Day Shift: 6am - 2pm
  • Ongoing work - Monday to Friday (Potential for weekend overtime)
  • Immediate starts.

*Duties can include (but are not limited to):*

  • Operate machinery to bend and cut reinforced steel bars to specification.
  • Perform pre-start safety checks.
  • Handle materials and finished products up to 25kg.
  • Carry out quality control checks.
  • Bundle materials using steel ties for dispatch.
  • Support maintenance duties.
  • Work alongside forklift drivers and gantry crane operators.
  • Forklift Operation (As required)

*To be successful for this position:*

  • Machine Operating Experience
  • Capable to lift up to 25kg.
  • Valid LF License
  • Strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • Available to work Monday to Friday ongoing.
  • Own transport to and from work.
  • PPE Requirements:
  • Long Sleeve Hi-Vis Shirt
  • Long Pants
  • Steel Cap Boots
