Job Opportunity: Machine Operator - Casual or Permanent Employment Type:

Permanent Hourly Rate:

$37-$42

We are currently seeking a hands-on Machine Operator with experience in manufacturing or processing environments to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery such as waterjet cutters and other precision equipment.
  • Measure components to tight tolerances of

    +/-0.5mm.
  • Maintain machinery and ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or processing setting.
  • Background or trade experience in

    Engineering, metals, or aerospace industries.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Safety-conscious with good problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid

    Forklift licence

    (counterbalance and/or high reach experience highly regarded).
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
