Senior Data Scientist – Drive Real-World Impact with Scalable ML Solutions

Are you ready to take the lead in delivering high-impact data science projects that shape real business decisions? We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a forward-thinking, data-driven organisation that's deeply invested in advanced analytics, AI, and cutting-edge cloud technology.

In this role, you'll spearhead the end-to-end development of machine learning models and data solutions – from discovery to deployment – working alongside a passionate team that values innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the design, development, and delivery of machine learning models aligned with key business objectives
Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape problem definitions, and drive adoption of data solutions
Mentoring junior and mid-level data scientists on modelling, ML engineering, governance, and business engagement
Building and deploying models using Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks on Azure, with applications in forecasting, optimisation, and automation
Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and ML use cases
Applying A/B testing, optimisation techniques, and causal inference to generate actionable insights
Championing MLOps best practices including model versioning, retraining, and performance monitoring
Prototyping in areas such as computer vision, optimisation, and generative AI
Translating complex analysis into clear, compelling insights and recommendations for business stakeholders

What we're looking for:

Proven experience delivering machine learning models into production
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Databricks and Azure
Strong grounding in statistics, machine learning, and optimisation for experimentation and decision-making
Knowledge of emerging fields such as computer vision, LLMs, or causal inference
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience across the full data science lifecycle – from development to deployment and monitoring
