Program Manager / Lead – SAP Upgrade project | 12 months contract

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager / Lead with extensive SAP experience and a strong understanding of corporate (finance, HR), retail and supply chain operations.

  • 12 months contract initially with extension options
  • Hybrid Working - Preston based with 2 days WFH
  • Large SAP upgrade project

THE ROLE

As the Program Manager / Lead you'll provide hands-on project management and lead delivery resources to fulfil the needs of the Enterprise Applications SAP Upgrade.

You'll effectively manage program costs, ensure that resources (human, are allocated efficiently and effectively, and provide timely and accurate reports and program delivery progress. You'll have proven experience of the successful delivery of programs of work via Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid approaches

ABOUT YOU

  • Significant planning & delivery experience within complex Enterprise-scale environments.
  • Solid understanding of corporate (finance, HR), retail and supply chain operations.
  • Extensive and successful achievements with SAP (Finance, EWM, BTP Integrations & Success Factors).
  • Experience with complex upgrade paths and migrations to SAP RISE will be beneficial.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills across all levels and areas of the business.
  • Track record of successful delivery via Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid approaches.
  • Effective management of program costs, including contractors, partners, licences etc.
  • Ensure that resources (human, financial, and material) are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and program delivery progress.
  • Ensure sufficient documentation is developed and maintained (scope, functional and technical designs, user guides, etc).
  • Collaboratively plan for and ensure smooth handover of projects to operations.
  • Adept at working within EPMO project governance standards.
