About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Business Services, the Senior Manager, Strategy and PMO is a pivotal leadership role responsible for translating ST Vic's strategic objectives into a prioritised, deliverable portfolio of initiatives.
This role will lead the establishment and operation of a fit-for-purpose Project Management Office (PMO), oversee the implementation of ST Vic's corporate strategy and roadmap, and uplift organisational project capability. You will be accountable for driving strategic alignment, delivering transparent reporting, strengthening governance, and embedding a culture of performance and accountability across ST Vic's portfolio of initiatives.
The responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Strategy and PMO will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the development, implementation and improvement of project management frameworks.
- Overseeing delivery of the corporate strategy and organisational roadmap.
- Maintaining oversight of the strategic project portfolio, ensuring alignment to objectives.
- Providing timely reporting and insights to executives on key initiatives, risks and opportunities.
- Building organisational project delivery capability through training, tools and coaching.
- Driving governance and assurance processes to manage risks and support effective delivery.

About You
You are a dynamic leader with deep expertise in strategy execution, project governance, and PMO leadership. You thrive in complex environments, can balance competing priorities, and have the ability to inspire trust and confidence across senior stakeholders.
With strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you can navigate challenges, make sound decisions, and provide high-quality advice to executives. You are also a people-focused leader who fosters a high-performance culture, champions engagement, and builds capability across your team and the wider organisation.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in business, public policy, project management, or a related field are mandatory.
- Experience in a strategy/PMO leadership role is essential.
- Formal project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) are desirable.
