About the Role
The Cyber Uplift Program Manager role will lead the successful delivery of a high-impact cybersecurity uplift program designed to strengthen organisational cyber resilience, enhance security maturity, and ensure compliance with mandated frameworks and industry best practices.
This role is essential to ensure governance, delivery coordination, risk management, and stakeholder engagement are executed to a high standard within the program's time and funding constraints. The role will engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and broader business objectives.
The successful incumbent of this role will be accountable for the end-to-end management of the program, including strategic planning, governance, execution, and realisation of benefits.
This is a full time, 12 months fixed term opportunity not to be missed for an experienced Program Manager with specialist skills in cyber security program delivery.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Program/Project Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Program or Project Management (e.g. MSP, PMP, PRINCE2).
- Desirable: Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, SABSA).
- Significant experience delivering large-scale ICT or cybersecurity programs in complex environments (government or enterprise).
- Demonstrated high-level experience in cyber uplift initiatives, governance, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
- Proven track record in managing risk-based programs that deliver regulatory, operational, or resilience outcomes.
