Workfast is looking for Production Operators to join a leading national cement and construction materials manufacturer in Clyde, NSW. 

  • Pay Rate: $40.60 p/hr + OT and Super
  • Hours:10am to 8pm – Afternoon Shift / Four (4) x 10-hour days per week
  • Location:Clyde, NSW

Candidates must have 2+ years' experience as a Production Operator, Factory Hand, or Machine Operator within manufacturing, heavy industry, quarrying or similar environments. You must be reliable, hardworking, physically fit, and able to work safely around machinery. Strong attention to detail, effective communication and the ability to be on your feet all day are essential to success in this role.

What you need

  • Forklift Licence – MUST HAVE
  • 2+ years production or factory labouring experience
  • Computer experience required (data entry, production logs)
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Physically fit and happy to be on your feet all day
  • Looking for long-term work
  • Must pass pre-employment Drug + Alcohol test
  • Own transport / ability to get to Clyde

What you will be doing

  • Operating a forklift as part of daily production duties
  • Production line labouring
  • Operating or assisting with industrial machinery
  • Manual handling and lifting when necessary
  • Measuring, batching and loading raw materials
  • Accurately recording batch readings and reports
  • Monitoring production quality and completing paperwork accurately
  • Stacking and moving product using forklift and other equipment
  • Cleaning, maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Safe work practices at all times
