About The Role
We are now seeking an experienced
Assembly Supervisor / Manager
based at
Brisbane
Airport
, reporting into the Unit/Operations Manager. In this role you will lead the Assembly department with overall financial, operational and compliance accountability. This role will be to ensure that all Assembly operations are executed in an effective and efficient manner, under the strictest of hygiene conditions to the agreed customer quality standard.

What You Will Focus On

  • Oversees of Assembly functions across (Make & Pack, Pick & Pack, Wash & Pack)
  • Monitor financial and operational performance being accountable for budget and support the GM in the analysis of the monthly financial statements.
  • Direct and monitor all production activities to maximise the use of the organisation's resources and meets established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, and quality standards.
  • Continuous optimization of operational processes to achieve our goals.
  • Ensures legal/compliance requirements across health and safety, food safety, and security.
  • Guarantee of the quality agreed for the unit performance index.
  • Formulate and assist in the development and implementation of corrective measures in case of negative development in results/key performance indicators (KPI) of the unit.
  • Staff management and planning and control of man-hours used in the Operational departments.

Qualifications:

  • High school certificate required, or associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Professional qualifications in operations/logistics/food safety preferred.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in high-volume operations (catering, manufacturing, or food production).
  • Strong understanding of dishwashing equipment, packing standards, and HACCP principles.
  • Prior experience in inflight catering or airline equipment operations would be highly desirable
  • Strong leadership, team engagement, and performance management capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and computer skills - Microsoft 365.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to hygiene, compliance, and on-time performance.
