Glengollan Village is a well-established aged care community committed to providing quality care and a supportive environment for our residents.
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team here at Glengollan Village.
About the role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will:
- Ensure residents' clothing and linen are washed, dried, folded and returned correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the laundry area.
- Handle residents' garments with care and respect.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Work as part of a supportive team to ensure smooth daily operations.
About you
- Previous laundry or aged care experience (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and a caring attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently and follow established procedures.
- A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Current police check and proof of right to work in Australia.

Requirements
- COVID-19 Vaccinations.
- Current national police clearance check (Unsupervised / Aged Care)

Glengollan Village is a non-denominational, not-for-profit charitable organisation administered by an Honorary Board of Management, established to provide appropriate accommodation and related services meeting specific care needs for aged people.
Established in 1956, as the Ferntree Gully Aged People's Homes, Glengollan has independent living units, as well as a 90 bed residential aged care facility.
