This is a residential role based in the Parkes region, working a consistent 7:7 roster with 12-hour shifts—giving you the balance to enjoy life outside of work while contributing to a high-performing underground maintenance team. As part of Evolution Mining, you'll be working hands-on with heavy mobile equipment in a well-supported environment that values safety, quality, and teamwork. About the role

Become a vital part of our Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) team, where your skills will help drive the performance of our underground mining fleet at Northparkes. Operating 24/7, our MEM team ensures every piece of equipment is maintained to a fit-for-purpose standard—safe, reliable, and ready to support production. Your work will directly influence safety outcomes, operational costs, and tonnes mined, making this a high-impact role within our mining operations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance across our heavy mobile fleet. You'll use our site work management systems to accurately record repairs, materials, and defects, while collaborating with Team Leaders and Planners to keep maintenance schedules up to date. You'll conduct quarterly and heavy vehicle inspections, maintain exceptional housekeeping standards, and uphold Evolution's safety principles. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team while demonstrating behaviours aligned with our core values.

About you

• You're based in Parkes or ready to relocate and become part of a close-knit mining community.
• You bring at least three years of post-trade experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance within a hard rock mining environment.
• You hold an Australian-recognised Certificate III Trade Qualification, with strong experience in underground drilling equipment diagnostics and repair.
• You're confident using OEM documentation and diagnostic tools, and you take pride in your organisational and communication skills.
• You're safety-focused, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards in every aspect of your work.
• You hold a current "C" Class Australian Driver's Licence
