Looking for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join a busy workshop in Paget. ASAP Start & Long Term.

Your new company

Our client specialises in supplying high-quality hydraulic, pneumatic, filtration, lubrication, and electronic products and services. Their innovative approach consistently exceeds industry expectations across various market segments, including mining and exploration, marine, agricultural, aerospace, industrial, transport, materials handling, defence, construction, and energy and renewables. They are currently looking for a CNC machinist in their Paget workshop.

Your new role

  • Set up, operate and maintain CNC equipment
  • Set up machines and ensure proper alignment
  • Understand technical drawings, schematics and manuals
  • Use tools for cutting, shaping and assembly
  • Repair machinery as required
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs

What you'll need to succeed

  • Machinist Trade Certificate
  • Have an ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Be living in the Mackay Region or willing to relocate
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

What you'll get in return
If you're successful for this role, you will be offered a full-time position with a reputable business. You will be working on a Monday to Friday roster with potentially overtime and you will be paid an attractive hourly rate + penalties + super.
