Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a passion for exceptional guest experiences? Join our dynamic team at Turtle Beach Resort, a premier Gold Coast family resort known for outstanding facilities, service, and vibrant atmosphere. We are seeking a driven and hands-on Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our onsite "The Deck" Restaurant and merchandise outlet.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation of all F&B services, while maintaining high standards of customer service, staff engagement, and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on position ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced resort environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of restaurant and merchandise operations.
  • Supervise and support a diverse team of front-of-house and kitchen staff.
  • Drive exceptional guest service across all food and beverage service touch-points.
  • Coordinate rosters, stock ordering, and cost controls, as required.
  • Ensure compliance with RSA and food safety standards.
  • Lead by example with a strong presence during peak service periods.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff training, as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience.

About You:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality or F&B operations.
  • Valid RMLV required.
  • Valid Food Safety Supervisor required.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support your team.
  • Passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Knowledge of bar service, POS systems, and stock control procedures.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
  • Valid QLD First Aid and CPR highly regarded (ability to complete throughout employment required).
