Our client is a major fast-food supplier and leading food manufacturing business based in Eagle Farm. 

The Benefits

  • Base rate $ Super + Penalty Rates
  • 3 week shift rotation AM + PM
  • Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday 5am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday 5am - 1pm & Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm
  • 4 day weekend after week 1
  • Overtime available
  • Expanding business

The Role

Key duties will include:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment within industrial settings.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) to optimise machinery performance.
  • Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

The Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a high-speed manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Solid understanding of PLCs and VSDs
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Electrical certification or equivalent qualification.
