Brimbank is continuously growing, with many transformational infrastructure projects about to break ground. A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

We are currently seeking a Full Time fixed term staff member to join our team based at our Operations Centre in Keilor Park.
The role
Reporting to the Coordinator Parks Development, we are seeking someone who has aspirations and enthusiasm to become an Apprentice Horticulturist.
To be considered you will have:
- Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent).
- Current driver's licence (desirable, or willingness to obtain).
- Interest in horticulture, gardening, and outdoor work.
- No prior experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety requirements.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to professional development.
