Position Overview

We are seeking a keen candidate to join our friendly and supportive team at Pymble Medical & Dental Centre.

This role initially offers 1 day per week, with the flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed and potential to increase regular days in the future. A fortnightly Saturday rotation is also required.

About the Role

Permanent part-time position (starting with 1 day per week)

Shifts available: 1 weekday & Fortnightly Saturday rotation. Opportunity to pick up extra shifts to cover staff leave or busy periods. Potential to expand to more regular days as the practice grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside assistance during general, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures
  • Sterilisation and infection control in accordance with ADA and practice protocols
  • Preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment
  • Patient care before, during, and after treatment
  • Accurate record-keeping and charting
  • Reception duties including appointment scheduling, billing and patient communication
  • Manage accounts payable of all practice invoices
  • Stock control and ordering of dental supplies
  • Supporting the dentist and team to ensure smooth daily operations
