We're looking for an experienced and reliable Casual Chef to join our small, friendly team at Ascot Catering, based at the Albert Park Yachting & Angling Club.
You'll be working in a beautiful beachside venue, preparing fresh, seasonal dishes for a variety of events — from casual lunches to private functions and weddings.
About the Role:
- 20–30 hours per week (flexible roster)
- Duties include working across the salads and fryer sections, food prep, plating, and maintaining kitchen standards
- Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Immediate start available
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Minimum 6-12 months of commercial kitchen experience required
- Is reliable, efficient, and a good communicator
- Works well under pressure and as part of a team
- Has strong attention to detail and pride in their work
- Must have Australian work rights
- Food safety certificate is preferred but can be flexible
