**About the role
The purpose of this position is to lead, coordinate and support the allied health clinical team responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence-based allied health services across rehabilitation inpatient wards within STARS.
The role will monitor, evaluate and manage activity performance including the relevant performance KPI's and associated data elements.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within specialist rehabilitation, and advocate for service improvements that enhance the delivery of allied health services across STARS and wider MNHHS, utilising identification and application of guidelines and business improvement plans.
Lead interprofessional service improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes within STARS rehabilitation inpatients.
Consult, negotiate and engage at all levels across the HHS, to advocate for, and advance Health Practitioner services.
