Waterproofer/tiler apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice to join our team, specialising in waterproofing, tiling, flooring, and general renovations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn a wide range of trade skills, and grow within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist tradespeople with waterproofing, tiling, flooring, and renovation projects.
• Recieve your trade certification with our in-job training program (through rpl conditions apply)
• Prepare and clean work areas, tools, and materials
• Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and waterproofing products
• Cut and lay tiles, flooring, and other materials under supervision
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
• Support with general carpentry, demolition, and renovation tasks as required
• Learn and develop technical skills to progress within the trade
• Adhere to all building codes and regulations
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and site protocols
• Customer relations.

Requirements:

• Genuine interest in building and renovation work
• Car with a valid drivers license, unless you can commute to wheelers hill every morning.
• Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to think on your own
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Ability to work safely
• Valid First aid certificate(if you don't have it we can organise it for you)
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• (Prior experiences not Necessary)
