ENV Solutions is seeking an Experienced Occupational Hygiene / HAZMAT Consultant with a passion for delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. Based in our Coffs Harbour office, you'll deliver solutions across a broad range of projects and industries, working with government and private sector clients.

The role services projects with a mix of field and desktop-based work, including:

  • Manage and develop client relationships.
  • Completing occupational hygiene assessments and undertaking a variety of sampling, monitoring, analytical analysis and reporting activities.
  • Producing technical reports detailing investigations, risk assessments and solutions for clients.
  • Performing lab analysis (fibre counting) at our in-house NATA laboratory and producing reports.
  • Working with clients to recognise, evaluate and control occupational health hazards to protect workers and improve their workplace.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor-level tertiary qualification in science, engineering, or occupational hygiene.
  • 3+ years of occupational hygiene / Hazmat industry experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Current Driver Licence (without restriction) and ability to drive manual vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Maintain quality records, reports and compliance documentation including use of a computerised maintenance management systems.
  • Work in a team environment and follow standard policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Has the capacity for occasional travel to regional project sites and between ENV offices, as required.

Highly Desirable Skills

Although not essential, the below would be valuable in your role with ENV:

  • Construction Induction Training (White Card).
  • SafeWork NSW/QLD Licenced Asbestos Assessor (LAA) accreditation.
  • Experience in fibre-counting analysis and reporting, to NATA standards.
  • Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (AIOH) membership
