THE ROLE

Paediatric and Aged Care Occupational Therapy

The successful candidate will be working full-time in the community. A typical day-to-day role of a community therapist will involve:

  • Assessing client function and communicating client needs through detailed reports.
  • Communicate identified needs with the client, families, and providers and appropriate referrals to the relevant Health Professional / Specialist.
  • Prescription of appropriate equipment / adaptive aids as well as home modifications depending on your scope of practice.
  • Ongoing and regular therapies
  • Working collaboratively within an Allied health team.
  • Continuously review current treatment plans and adjust accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience within the NDIS Paediatric sector
  • A commitment to learning, growth, and teamwork.
  • A passion for providing quality care in the Paediatric NDIS community sectors
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
  • Valid Police Check and Working with Children's Check
  • Current driver's license
