About Marketing And Client Services

As part of the Marketing and Business Development group, this role focuses on managing and strengthening relationships with a portfolio of G+T's strategic clients, while leading the firm's Financial Services sector program.

Working in partnership with Relationship Partners, the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Client Development and colleagues across Marketing, Business Development and Client Service teams, you will co-create and deliver strategies that drive client engagement, collaboration and growth.

You will also play a central role in coordinating the Financial Services sector program – developing initiatives that position G+T as a leading adviser to the Australian and international financial services industry.

About The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and manage strategic client relationship plans across a portfolio of priority clients, including relationship mapping, goal setting, engagement planning and progress reporting.
  • Partner with Relationship Partners and client teams to identify opportunities to deepen relationships, broaden engagement across practices and enhance client experience.
  • Lead the firm's Financial Services sector strategy, identifying target clients, emerging opportunities and market trends.
  • Develop and implement sector business plans, including client targeting, marketing campaigns, events and thought leadership.
  • Conduct client listening and feedback sessions to capture insights and inform future initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal collaboration across client and sector teams to share knowledge and drive alignment.
  • Prepare reports, updates and insights for internal and external audiences.
  • Leverage data analytics and technology tools to enhance client insights and identify opportunities for proactive engagement.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least eight years' experience in business development, client relationship management or a related role in a professional services environment (ideally legal or consulting).
  • Demonstrated success in managing strategic client relationships or key account programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging with senior executives and partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of client and market drivers, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Highly developed project management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications or a related field.
