At O'Kelly, we're not your average packaging company. We supply the essentials that keep businesses moving — from carry bags and branded packaging to consumables that our customers rely on every day. We're a family business with a strong reputation, and we're looking for a Purchasing & Shipping Officer to join our Purchasing team.

This role is perfect for someone who's organised, loves variety, and enjoys keeping things moving behind the scenes. You'll be hands-on with everything from raising purchase orders to coordinating shipments, running inventory reports, and supporting the team with whatever comes up.

What you'll be doing:
  • Raising and managing purchase orders with our suppliers
  • Coordinating shipping and freight, and checking costs against our agreed rates
  • Keeping track of shipments and making sure the right information flows to the right people
  • Running inventory reports and helping plan stock levels
  • Pitching in across purchasing and supply chain tasks when needed — no two days will be the same
What we're looking for:
  • Someone with experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or a related role
  • A sharp eye for detail and solid organisation skills
  • Confidence with systems (ERP experience is a bonus, but not essential)
  • Good communication skills to work with suppliers and our internal teams
  • A flexible team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves
