About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead our civil and drilling crews across multiple projects in Western Sydney. This is a full-time position with an immediate start for the right candidate. You'll be responsible for coordinating daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Telstra standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities across HDD and civil projects
  • Manage field crews, subcontractors, and plant on-site
  • Conduct daily prestart, toolbox talks, and safety checks
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and project scopes
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain progress
  • Track productivity, materials, and daily reporting requirements
  • Ensure full compliance with Telstra and NBN specifications
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and environmental management

Requirements

  • Must have telecommunications experience
  • Must understand and work to Telstra specifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in civil construction or telecommunications
  • Proven experience as a site supervisor or leading hand
  • Strong knowledge of HDD, trenching, and underground conduit installation
  • White Card (essential) and current driver's license
  • Additional plant or machinery tickets highly regarded (excavator, HR, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple crews and deadlines independently
