**What You'll Be Doing,**As the Laundry Supervisor, you will:

- ** Lead a Team**: Organise, coordinate, and control laundry staff to ensure a high standard of service for both hotel guests and employees.
- ** Stay on Top of Operations**: Ensure smooth workflow, proper sorting of linens, and the proper functioning of equipment to avoid any mishaps.
- ** Health & Safety First**: Promote and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) procedures, and assist in training staff on hazard identification and safety protocols.
- ** Stock Control & Maintenance**: Monitor chemical supplies and equipment, ensure sufficient stock levels, and maintain machinery to keep operations running seamlessly.
- ** Team Development**: Work with the Laundry Manager to implement effective training programs and ensure all team members provide courteous and professional service.
- ** Support for Special Projects**: Be flexible and take on tasks outside of your regular duties to ensure everything runs smoothly, from linen stock takes to special guest requests.

**Who We’re Looking For,**To succeed in this role, you should:

- Have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a laundry or hospitality environment.
- Be a strong communicator who can lead by example, ensuring staff perform at their best.
- Be proactive, with the ability to think on your feet and handle any challenges that arise.
- Be familiar with health and safety standards and have a keen eye for detail.
- Be passionate about developing a high-performing team and creating a positive work culture.
