About the role:

As Project Services Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and leading Fleetwood's project controls framework on a national scale. This is a hands-on, functional position where you'll work closely with our senior leadership team and executive to drive strategic change across our project management processes. You'll lead the implementation of standardized controls to enhance project governance, improve risk management, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Collaborating with national project management teams, you'll drive improvements in cost control, scheduling, and performance monitoring. If you're a proactive leader with a passion for driving transformation and delivering results, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, growing organisation.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and opportunities, integrating enterprise risk management practices to mitigate potential issues.
  • Establish consistent project governance and benchmarking frameworks to improve project setup, monitoring, and close-out practices.
  • Oversee the development of integrated project schedules and cost management systems to ensure accuracy, predictability, and accountability.
  • Facilitate project performance reporting, ensuring leadership visibility of key metrics including safety, budget, progress, risks, and variances.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across project management, finance, estimating, procurement, and planning to uplift project controls maturity.
  • Act as a change agent to lead cultural and process shifts that drive continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Develop and deliver training and tools to support national adoption of project controls processes and systems.
  • Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and project performance analytics.

About You:

You're experienced in construction and a project controls leader with 7+ years in major capital or infrastructure projects, ready to roll up your sleeves and drive hands-on implementation. You thrive in a dynamic, change-driven environment, with a proven track record of leading the adoption of new frameworks and improving project management practices. A strategic thinker with expertise in cost control, scheduling, and risk management, you'll work closely with senior leadership to embed change across teams and ensure consistency in project delivery. Your strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills will help you lead cultural shifts, influence decision-making, and deliver results. If you're ready to take charge, implement change, and make a real impact, we want you on our team.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience working on major capital or infrastructure projects, preferably in a design and construct environment.
  • Proven expertise in project controls and/or project management with demonstrated success in developing and implementing project management frameworks.
  • Proven experience of implementing process improvements and project controls across diverse teams.
  • Strong functional knowledge in at least one of the following: Project management, cost control, planning and scheduling, estimating, or procurement.
