Occupational Therapist – $90 per hour* - Perth based with Outreach opportunities to regional WA and the NT

We support independent contractors with:

- 50% of billings direct to you (NDIS rates vary for clinical service and travel; includes Superannuation) *NDIS rates vary between travel and clinical service, and for different service offerings. Percentage of billings varies according to chargeable rates for services delivered

  • Support for Outreach bookings, travel, and logistics

  • Robust clinical management system (Lumary AH)

  • State of the art clinical / offices in Subiaco

  • Clinical support from our Paediatricians, Clinical Psychology, Exercise Physiology, and Speech Pathology Teams

  • Total flexibility of how, when, and where you work (as long as you come in on Thursdays for coffee and collaboration)

Every day we work to help disadvantaged youngsters, adults, and their families from varied backgrounds to better understand their conditions and work with them to develop goals and plans designed to enhance their quality of life and overall enjoyment. More recently, we have been expanding our practice to include older Australians, helping to improve their quality of life.

This range of practice opportunity will provide you with a diverse and rewarding client-base. The development and implementation of individualised care and treatment plans will be a meaningful and integral part of the job.

The Patches Team are looking for driven, talented and really good fun, Occupational Therapists, experienced and comfortable with both Functional Capacity Assessments and the development and ongoing delivery of client focused care and treatment plans.

Your Responsibilities will include:


• Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop care and treatment plans


• Work with clients to develop goals and objectives for therapy – and CELEBRATE the wins with them


• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help clients achieve their goals


• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed


• Work closely with clients and their families to assist them in maximising the benefits of assistive technology and techniques to improve daily living skills


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy


• Current AHPRA registration


• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist


• Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds (ideal, but special interests or specialty skills are welcome)


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently AND as part of a team


• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
