Our long-running property maintenance business is seeking a Operations Manager to join our team; general Carpenters & Handymen also welcome to apply as we have other general positions available.

About the role

As a key member of our team, our ideal Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' properties are well-maintained and in optimal condition.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Supervising & coordinating a team of 12 tradespeople and 5 office personal
  • Managing scheduling and assignment of staff to projects
  • Preparing accurate quotes and processing client invoices
  • Handling escalated issues from on-site trades staff
  • Assisting the office staff with escalated customer enquiries

What we're looking for

  • Full Australian working rights essential
  • Min. 2 years team management experience in building trade essential
  • Handyman/Carpenter experience (preferably in the property maintenance industry)
  • Ability to think on the fly in our face paced office environment
  • Ability to attend site and quote on customer requirements.
  • Full driver's licence is required for site visits and customer quotations
  • Sound computer skills + high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in job management software, Microsoft Office Suite, quoting software, and basic email/internet skills are required
  • QBCC Low Rise or better license or ability to easily obtain one
