Position Summary

Illawarra Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary History and Biblical Studies Teacher to join our team in 2026.

This is an ongoing position, open to both full-time and part-time applicants. We're committed to shaping the role to suit the strengths, availability and aspirations of the successful candidate, while ensuring our students and school community are well supported. The Role

You'll teach History and Biblical Studies to secondary students, delivering curriculum that is both academically rigorous and spiritually enriching. You'll work closely with colleagues, pastoral care teams, and families to support the holistic development of each student.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications.
  • NESA registration and accreditation.
  • A valid paid Working with Children Check.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, including Christian education.
  • A genuine Christian faith of reformed persuasion, with active commitment to a local church.
