We currently have an opportunity for an ICT Officer to join our Health & Education team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of Operational Technology systems that support critical business operations at the Sunshine Coast Uni Hospital. Reporting to the ICT Operations Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Operational Technology applications, infrastructure, and end-user devices.
- Manage and resolve ICT support requests, adhering to ITSM processes and escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, ITIL best practices, and Service Specification KPIs for incident and problem management.
- Perform daily system monitoring, regular backups, and apply system patches and upgrades.
Support ICT projects and collaborate with teams to maintain standards, documentation, and functionality.
What You'll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant certifications, with knowledge of networking principles, ICT best practices, ITIL framework, and ITSM principles.
- Experience supporting applications, Windows Server, Linux, Windows desktop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Immediate Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships and achieve high customer satisfaction.
