FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors.

FinXL IT is partnering with a leading financial services organisation through our Associate Program, and we're seeking multiple Associate Engineers (Java OR Data) to join our team and be deployed on a key transformation project.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on development of custom data pipelines using tools like ANTLR
  • Implement and manage large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark
  • Work closely with senior-level engineers on significant initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales and Trading teams to deliver real-time data platforms
  • Receive targeted training to rapidly build your Java and/or Data engineering skills
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of next-generation technology solutions

Key Requirements

  • Recent Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience or coursework in Java programming and/or Apache Spark
  • A strong, critical thinker with the ability to proactively identify problems and propose solutions
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and high-performing team
  • Passionate about IT engineering and an eagerness to learn
