Long Chim is part of the State Buildings precinct which has become one of the city's favourite meeting places and is home to an award-winning collection of restaurants and bars.

Long Chim's offering is a celebration of traditional Thai street food with contemporary flavours, alongside award winning cocktails of 'The Lone Traveller cocktail program'.

Founded by Chef David Thompson, Australia's leading authority on all things Thai, Long Chim embraces traditional Thai techniques with Australian produce. Service is energetic, fun and outgoing with a focus on genuine hospitality.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver exceptional, friendly service with every drink.
  • Maintain product knowledge across cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
  • Keep the bar clean, organised and running smoothly.
  • Work closely with the team to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Follow all safety, food handling and operational procedures.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous bartending experience in a busy, high-quality venue.
  • Strong beverage knowledge and cocktail-making skills.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and great communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
