About us

Norths Devils Leagues Club (Devils), situated in the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, forms an integral part of the local community. Established for over 50 years, Norths Devils Leagues Club is an important hub for community support and rugby league growth in Brisbane's northern suburbs. The venue is spaciously designed to incorporate a 240 seat restaurant, versatile function spaces, kids play room, dedicated sports bar and 93 gaming machines.

You will be working directly with the Head Chef and in collaboration and support of the Groups Executive Chef. This club is part the QCM Group offering progression opportunities as part of one of Queensland's leading hospitality groups.

We are currently offering several casual and full-time positions in our Kitchen.

We are currently looking for a range of outstanding chefs and cooks to join our growing Catering team who:

  • Have a passion for food and creative cooking.
  • Want to work in a supportive team environment.

We are specifically looking for the following positions:

  • Chef de Partie
  • Wok Chef
  • Grill Chef
The Role

To successfully fill this role, you must:

  • Have trade qualifications or previous experience in commercial cooking.
  • Be passionate about cooking and producing quality dishes consistently with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Have previous experience in a busy, fast paced Kitchen environment and work well under pressure.
  • Be reliably available for a variety of shifts within Kitchen operating hours, across 7 days, especially week-ends.
  • Wok experience preferred but not essential.
  • Maintain regulatory requirements around food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Be able to work autonomously, as well as within a team with a focus on time management skills.
  • Hold current Food Handling & COVID safe certificates.

The successful applicants will understand the hospitality industry and appreciate that the Club operates 7 days per week and rosters will incorporate days, nights, weekends & public holidays.
