Gardener

I require an enthusiastic person for working in all aspects of gardening and regular property maintenance. You will be working in a pair but also independently at times.

The position is Casual but with consistent 40 hour weeks. I preferably want someone five days a week but also open to more flexible arrangements if you have parenting duties etc.

We are a small team with a focus on doing quality work while having a relaxed, friendly and enjoyable work environment. Full training and equipment/uniforms is provided with plenty of support for further development in acquiring any extra tickets and professional development courses.

The role is greatly varied and every day is different with plenty of movement around Melbournes Eastern suburbs working in a variety of gardens doing lots of different things.

Experience and/or qualifications are not essential but garden knowledge is an advantage.

The right applicant must have the following attributes:

• Presentable
• Hard working
• Honest and ethical
• Reliable
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and with others
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Capable of hard physical work
• Preferably a manual car license but not essential
• Current Police check as we also do aged care work

Your role will include a variety of duties including but not limited to garden maintenance, whipper snipping, lawn mowing, planting, weeding, pruning, rubbish removals and high pressure cleaning.

The company is located in Vermont in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and it would be an advantage if you live nearby.

Experience is not essential for the right applicant who meets all of the stated attributes.
