**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for 3 x full-time Personal Carers to work 2 days a week within our Livingston Gardens facility, located in leafy Vermont South, assisting with the implementation of our Social Support Group which is due to launch soon. You will then work the other 3 days of the week in our home & community care division, caring for our elderly clients in the South-Eastern suburbs.

The role requires the successful applicants to assist in the implementation of an engaging, person-centred leisure and lifestyle program with a focus on the provision of social connections. The program focusses on wellness and provides a range of opportunities for clients to achieve physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing.

The role will also require you to participate in regular community care shifts such as personal care, home care (domestic assistance), meal preparation and transport shifts in the Eastern suburbs.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist in the facilitation of our social lifestyle program
- Ensure client needs are communicated and documented
- Ensure services are delivered in a manner that is in line with the Aged Care Quality Standard
- Attend personal care, homecare and transport shifts as needed within the South-East

**We need from you**:

- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent e.g. Cert III Individual Support, Cert III HACC or nursing qualification or be studying towards one
- Weekday Availability - Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
- Experience in aged care, preferably community care
- Qualifications and/ or experience in Leisure and Lifestyle roles with an emphasis on social wellbeing
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including the ability to read and interpret care-plans
- Current full or probationary Australian drivers’ license and own, reliable vehicle that is registered and insured
- Current first aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Current police check or willingness to obtain
- Covid vaccinations (3 doses) and willingness to obtain an annual flu vaccine
- Lifestyle & Leisure experience advantageous
