About Elevate Early Education and Childcare

Elevate Early Education and Childcare is a brand-new 84 place, purpose-built early learning centre opening in Werribee in late January 2026. Our centre is thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection in children aged 0-5 years. We are committed to delivering exceptional early childhood education through a child-safe environment, play-based learning, strong community engagement, and a nurturing

environment.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead our early years team. This exciting opportunity is for a Full-Time and off-the-floor dual role as a Nominated Supervisor, and Educational Leader.

Your Role

As the Centre Director/Educational Leader, you will be instrumental in establishing and leading our new centre, ensuring high-quality education and care, regulatory compliance, and a positive workplace culture from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall vision and daily operations of the centre with a focus on

quality, safety, and compliance.

  • Delivering a high-quality program that adheres to the Child Safe Standards,

National Model Code, ECA Code of Ethics, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and the National Quality Framework.

  • Act as the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services

National Law.

  • Inspire and mentor educators as the Educational Leader, guiding curriculum

and pedagogy to deliver continuous improvement.

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, staff, and the

wider community.

  • Manage enrolments, staffing, budgets, and centre performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.

About You Essential Criteria:

  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Current VIT registration (For ECT applicants)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership role within early childhood

education.

  • In-depth knowledge of the VEYLDF, NQS, Child Safe Standards and relevant

legislation.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Full Australian Working Rights

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor and/or Educational Leader.
  • Experience in launching or working in a new childcare centre is highly

regarded.

  • Experience in Owna (preferred)
  • A passion for inclusive, child-led learning and community engagement.
