Alino Living is proud to be the largest independent not-for-profit aged care provider on the Central Coast. We are currently seeking a casual Maintenance Officer to work across our 4 sites. Maintaining external lawns and gardens along with other internal maintenance tasks as directed by management.

Selection Criteria:

  • Ability to liaise & communicate in a courteous & diplomatic manner to residents, their families, staff, management and tradespersons e.g. electricians, plumbers or external contractors on all matters related to maintenance within the facility
  • Good understanding of Work Health & Safety and proactive in maintaining a safe living/working environment
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use a computer system to log and close off all maintenance requests and hazards
  • Have a can-do, friendly positive attitude
  • Good attention to detail and time management & organisation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good maintenance reporting with the ability to maintain purchase & supplies records, copies of invoices & quotations for work
  • Have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Be responsible, reliable, punctual and hard working
  • National Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Must have valid Manual drivers license
  • Ability to use various garden mechanical tools including trimmers, push mowers
