About the Role

The Security Operations Analyst is responsible for identifying and managing potential security risks to computer systems and networks, implementing appropriate security measures, and effectively managing cyber security incidents.

The role is an Ongoing Full-time position.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry certificates (TAFE/SANS/Microsoft/AWS ) and/or equivalent experience in information security, computer science or similar field.
  • Proven understanding and demonstrated skills regarding penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, attacker exploit techniques, and remediation methods.
  • Demonstrated understanding of network and system security concepts, tools and technologies, including endpoint protection technologies, web application firewall and intrusion protection, access control methodologies, IPS/IDS systems, SIEM tools, application whitelisting tools and network scanners.
  • Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
  • Satisfactory Criminal record check result.
