Inclusive Education Coordinator Position of Responsibility (POR2)

Teacher or ESO (remuneration dependent upon qualifications & experience.)

The Inclusive Education Coordinator (Years 9-12) promotes, maintains and enhances the Catholic identity of the College and is committed to a Lasallian philosophy of education.

The Coordinator will lead a team of Education Support Officers and collaborate with those in learning leadership roles to provide informed learning leadership in the area of Inclusivity. Leadership in this role will reflect best practice, and the ability to advocate for students and guide staff in line with the College mission and vision, in particular, "We are an inclusive and respectful community where each individual is known, valued and cared for, enabling them to feel confident to explore their curiosities, flourish and fully realise their potential".

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the South Australian Teachers Registration Board, qualification as Developmental Educator or similar, or relevant tertiary qualification or working towards
  • Role related qualifications and experience
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Current and acceptable Working with Children Clearance and screening to work in Catholic Education SA
  • Applicable First Aid Certificate relevant to the role requirements
  • Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate
  • Completion of Required Core Training programs prior to, or as soon as possible after appointment
  • Current Driver's License

Desirable:

  • Experience in leadership

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Applicable First Aid Certificate relevant to the role requirements
  • Current and acceptable Working with Children Clearance and screening to work in Catholic Education SA
  • Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care certificate
