Join the Protective Coating/Structural Maintenance team at DBCT, supporting vital infrastructure through high-quality blasting and painting. This long-term opportunity offers a structured 10-day rotating roster and consistent work through to November, ideal for those seeking stability and strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Abrasive blasting and industrial painting of steel structures.
- Surface preparation and coating application to site specifications.
- Compliance with safety protocols and contribution to a high-performance team.
What's on Offer
- Full-time, ongoing work with leave entitlements.
- 10-hour shifts on a structured 10-day roster.
- Weekly pay
- Mackay-based – we are looking for local support, but FIFO available for out of towners
- Upskilling opportunities and strong team support.
- Project continuity through to November 2025.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial painting or blasting (automotive/house painting considered for upskilling).
- White Card (Work Safely in Construction Industry).
- Working at Heights certification.
- Current driver's licence and valid ID (birth certificate or passport).
- Confined Space certification (desirable).
- Accommodation availalbe for FIFO workers in Sarina
