An opportunity exists for a well-motivated and efficient Painter / Trades Assistant who takes pride in their work at our Mackay Branch in a full time role.

About the role

  • Prepare surfaces for painting
  • Apply paint, enamel using spray guns
  • Ensure proper coverage, colour consistency, and finish quality
  • Maintain spray equipment and perform routine maintenance
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the SAFE operation of a forklift
  • Spray Painting experience desirable
  • Experience in operating a blaster desirable
  • Able to utilise power tools efficiently and safely
  • Able to carry out manual tasks safely
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be clean and presentable
  • Able to commit to Monday to Friday Shifts
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical
