Ascot Accounting is a boutique public practice accounting firm in Brisbane looking for an experienced Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join our friendly, professional team. About the role:

You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, providing high-quality accounting, taxation, and business advisory services. We're looking for someone who's comfortable managing their own workflow, confident communicating with clients, and keen to contribute to a positive team culture.

This role offers flexibility for the right person – part-time or full-time options available.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
  • Client relationship management and advisory support
  • Assisting with tax planning and business structuring
  • Reviewing work of junior team members (if applicable)
  • Working closely with partners in an open-door environment

About you:

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in public practice accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude
