Maintenance Operator Waste

The Town is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Maintenance Operator Waste team in a full-time permanent capacity.

Your new role

Reporting to a team leader, the position is responsible for assisting to maintain the Town's sweeping program, bin repairs and replacement and the removal of dumped rubbish.

What you'll need to succeed

  • demonstrated ability operating heavy plant equipment,
  • hold a current HR driver's license
  • previous experience driving a street sweeper.
  • proven experience in waste management desireable
  • experience in local government is desireable but not required
